The School of Accounting at the University of Georgia, established in 1977 and named J. M. Tull School of Accounting in 1978, is a professional accounting school in a major public research university. Based in Athens, Ga., the J. M. Tull School of Accounting offers several degree programs, including Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in accounting, Master of Accountancy (MAcc) and PhD courses. Its educational programs hold recognition nationally as one of the top ten accounting programs in the United States.
