Mark Twain Elementary School enrolls more than 395 students in pre-kindergarten through grade five. Its academic curriculum includes various subjects, such as art, music, science, physical education and social studies. The school operates a library and provides guidance counseling services. Mark Twain Elementary School also administers gifted and talented education and before- and after-school child care programs. It offers several extracurricular activities, including band and choir. The school has a student council and conducts basketball tournaments. Mark Twain Elementary School provides special education sessions to students with learning difficulties. Established in 1972, it is a part of Littleton Public Schools.
