The University of Tennessee Cancer Institute provides a variety of general oncology care and consultation services. The center provides computed and positron emission tomography, inpatient and outpatient consultation, genetic counseling and medical education services. It also offers blood and marrow transplantation, acute care, medical nutrition therapy, speech and swallowing rehabilitation and patient referral services. In addition, the center provides chemotherapy infusion, head and neck oncology and intensity modulated radiation therapy services. It offers evaluation and treatment of digestive system cancers, including retroperitoneal sarcoma, gastrointestinal stromal tumors, peritoneal mesothelioma and abdominal carcinomatosis.
