Established in 1963, Unit Drilling Company is one of the largest onshore drilling companies in the United States. Located in Casper, Wyo., the company operates more than 125 onshore drilling rigs in Texas, Oklahoma, Wyoming and Louisiana. It s drilling fleet ranges more than 16, 000 in depth and can provide vertical and horizontal services using air and mud as drilling mediums. Unit Drilling Company is a part of Unit Corporation, which specializes in oil exploration, contract drilling, and natural gas gathering and processing. The parent company also operates Superior Pipeline Company, which conducts gas gathering and processing operations, active gathering systems, nad natural gas treatment and processing plants.
