The College of Veterinary Medicine is a part of the University of Minnesota. The college provides various bachelor s, master s and doctorate degree programs in the areas of genomics, molecular biology, comparative medicine, pathology, surgery and biomedical science. It maintains Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratory, which offers clinical chemistry, electron microscopy, endocrinology and histopathology services. The College of Veterinary Medicine provides various continuing education programs in the areas of equine, poultry and diary. The college maintains a medical center that offers referral care services for large and small animals. It undertakes several research and development activities, as well as enrolls more than 85 students.
