The Department of Otolaryngology at the University of Miami School of Medicine provides patient care, and consultation and treatment to patients with a variety of diseases of the ears, nose, throat and neck. The department has several clinical divisions, including ear institute, sinus, voice and speech disorders, facial plastic and reconstructive surgery, head and neck surgery and pediatric otolaryngology. Its ear institute has many centers for cochlear implant, clinical audiology, hearing aid and treatment of Meniere's disease and balance disorders. The department s head and neck surgery divisions team includes otolaryngologists, vascular surgeons, neurosurgeons, plastic surgeons and radiologists. It offers a botulinum toxin injection program, thyroplastic surgery, vocal fold lesions and endoscopic sinus surgery.
