University of Minnesota Law School is located in Minneapolis. Its curriculum includes classes in contracts, torts, constitutional law, civil procedure, property, criminal law, law school concentrations, labor and employment law, health law and bioethics and human rights law. Additionally, first-year law students are offered enrollment in legal research and writing course. It also offers more than 19 clinical courses in the various areas of practice that include child advocacy, civil practice, criminal appeals, immigration, domestic violence, federal taxation, housing, defense and consumer bankruptcy. The school offers student participation in various clubs and organizations, including American Constitution Society, American Indian Law Student Association, Black Law Students Association, Graduate and Professional Schools Assembly and International Law Student Association.
