Urological Associates, Ltd, was established in 1967 by Dr. James Masloff. Dr. Masloff's dedication to his patients helped to establish the standard of care expected and provided by the physicians Urological Associates today. His fellowship with the local community and beyond is unsurpassed. Dr. Masloff continues to dedicate his time to the medical profession through medical missions to Uganda. Dr. William Orr joined Dr. Masloff in 1971. Together Dr. Orr and Dr. Masloff continued the caring tradition expected in the Martha Jefferson Hospital Community. Urology is the medical specialty that deals with the study, diagnosis, and treatment of diseases of the urinary tract in women and the genitourinary tract in men. Urology includes treatment for prostate, bladder, testicular and renal cancer, as well as, urinary incontinence, kidney stones, impotence, UTI, male fertility, and many other genitourinary problems. Urological Associates, Ltd, is proud to offer in-office microwave treatment for BPH, and outpatient laparoscopic surgery for the treatment of kidney cancer. We also offer vasectomy and vasectomy reversal. Urological Associates prides itself on providing quality healthcare in a comfortable, friendly, family-like atmosphere. Our practice has grown with the addition of urologists, Dr. Robert Byron Osborne, Dr. Stephen Schmitz, Dr. Julian Fagerli, Dr. Mark Passarella, Dr. Claiborne Whitworth, IV, and Dr. Geoffrey Habermacher. We also have a physician assistant, Gina Mitchell. Our practice is dedicated to providing the most promising urological treatments to our patients in the Charlottesville, Virginia area in a caring, patient-friendly setting. Our office is open 8: 00 a.m. to 5: 00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
