U.S. Bankruptcy Court is a federal court located in the district of Colorado. The U.S.B.C. is a unit of the U.S. District Court and is located in Denver in the U.S. Custom House, which is one of the judicial federal buildings. The other buildings include the historic Byron White U.S. Courthouse and the U.S. Courthouse. The U.S.B.C. staff consists of bankruptcy judgeships, with staff members, such as law clerks and secretaries. Court administration of the U.S.B.C. is the responsibility of the clerk of court who is appointed by and reports to the bankruptcy judges. The clerk of court appoints a staff of deputy clerks who are responsible for filing, docketing, and administering bankruptcy cases. The clerk's office staff also includes administrative, automation and courtroom deputy positions.
