Established in 1931, Utah's Hogle Zoo is a more than 40-acre facility that run by the Utah Zoological Society Board of Directors. It has accreditation by the American Zoo and Aquarium Association. The zoo has a collection of more than 1,100 specimens from Africa, Australasia, North America, Europe, Asia and South America. Its animal collection includes aardwolves, camels, dikdiks, zebras, elephants, hornbills, meerkats, warthogs, birds and fishes. Utah's Hogle Zoo hosts wildlife theatre program and arts shows. It provides educational programs for children and adults. Additionally, the zoo rents facility for various occasions. Utah's Hogle Zoo alsooffers toy train ride for children for children and it is located in Salt Lake City.
