Valley Mental Health is a nonprofit organization that offers behavioral health care services to the residents of Salt Lake, Summit and Tooele counties in Utah. The organization has served more than 18,000 children, youths, adults and senior citizens. It offers treatment and related services to people with serious mental illnesses and substance abuse disorders. Valley Mental Health also provides inpatient, residential and outpatient mental health care services. In addition, it operates Expanding Horizons, which is a day care facility in Salt Lake City. The organization administers outpatient recovery and community computer education programs. Founded in 1987, Valley Mental Health additionally provides crisis intervention solutions.
