V & M Star is North America's leading producer of seamless tubular products dedicated to oil and gas applications. Its operations are based at two sites, in Youngstown, Ohio, including an electric arc furnace and a rolling mill, the other in Houston, with heat treatment and threading facilities. The annual output capacity is approximately 500,000 metric tons of finished tubular products, of which 66 percent are OCTG. The company s other products include line pipe, standard pipe, coupling stock and mechanical tube. The Youngstown facility also consists of a walking beam reheat furnace and a 6-stand retained mandrel mill (MPM). V & M Star s Houston facility includes a straightening and hot sizing facilities, as well as finishing and hydrostatic pressure testing facilities.
