Founded in 1890, the Visiting Nurse Association of Central New York is a private, voluntary, nonprofit licensed home health care agency that provides its services to individuals, families and organizations. Located in Syracuse, N.Y., it caters to seniors needing assistance; new mothers and their infants; post-surgical patients; and disease management and education. The association offers a wide range of programs and services, including cardiac care program, HIV and AIDS care, home infusion therapy, long-term home health care program, pediatrics, speech language pathology and wound care.
