Established in 1891, Visiting Nurse Association is a nonprofit home health care agency and offers in-home services. The agency is a part of United Way and is located in Kansas City, Miss. It offers a wide range of home health care services programs and services that include skilled nursing and specialty nursing programs, rehabilitation services, medical social work, and nutrition and dietitian programs. It also provides home health aide, total joint replacement program and telehealth home monitoring services. It offers the VNA Plus program that provides home infusion pharmacy products and services, and it is approved by the Accreditation Commission for Health Care. Visiting Nurse Association also offers referral services and accepts Medicare and Medicaid programs.
