Since 1909, the Visiting Nurse Association of Greater Lowell has been providing a variety of home health care services to residents of Lowell, Mass. It is a private, nonprofit, community-based home health care agency that employs trained nurses, physical, occupational and speech therapists, medical social workers and home health aides. The agency offers a wide range of services, including wound care, diabetes education, infusion therapy, maternal-child health, ostomy care and services in various other specialty areas. It also offers a variety of rehabilitation and stress management services. The agency provides health care consultation to hospitals, nursing and assisted living facilities, residences for special populations, work sites and physician practices.
