Vista Health, based in Waukegan, Ill., is a health care service provider for the people of northern Illinois and southern Wisconsin. It comprises a network of two hospitals, the Vista Medical Center East and Vista Medical Center West. It also runs a stand-alone same day surgery and treatment center and several locations for imaging and patient therapy. Its services cover areas, such as emergency care, cancer services, orthopedics, heart services, surgery and pastoral care. Vista Medical Center West is one of the sole providers in Lake County, Ill., of inpatient rehabilitation services. The hospital also specializes in inpatient behavioral health. It is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities.
