Washington High School is a four-year, coeducational, college preparatory school located in Phoenix. The school offers courses in various subjects, including applied technology, business, foreign languages, math, music, science, social studies and visual arts. It also provides language arts, English learner and physical education programs. Its divisions also offer various occupational and career-oriented programs, such as publication production, Aspire-to-Teach, leadership and communication, library media services and Cisco-certified networking associate programs. Its food and consumer sciences department provides programs in child care, food service, interior designing, geriatrics, hospitality, special and elementary education, textiles and fashion, dietetics and nutrition, and culinary arts and tourism. It also offers various sports programs, such as badminton, baseball, volleyball, football, cross country, golf, soccer, softball, swimming, tennis and track and field. The school is a part of the Glendale Union High School District and also offers various extracurricular activities programs.
