Charles Nardozzi organized the Waterbury Plating and Painting Company in 1943. The company is a metal finisher of ferrous and nonferrous substrates that applies a variety of protective and decorative coatings. The company s clients are in markets include clothing, automotive, electronic, defense, aircraft, hardware, household goods, writing instruments, springs and instrumentation. Barrel plating is done with metals including brass, nickel, bright cadmium, blue and clear chromate, tin, antique copper and bright zinc. Four additions have been added to the manufacturing building, which now totals 60,000 square feet of which 20 percent is devoted to environmental controls and laboratories. The Waterbury Plating and Painting Company is headquartered in Waterbury, Conn.
