My main focus of my practice is eating disorders/disordered eating. I also work with those with general medical nutrition concerns, child nutrition concerns, and sports nutrition.
For the past 9 years my primary focus has been treating those diagnosed with Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa, Binge Eating Disorder, and Compulsive Overeating. Since it is my belief that anyone can overcome an eating disorder, it will be my pleasure to work with you, standing by your side every step of the way.
A dietitian provides nutrition education, nutrition therapy, meal therapy, and teaches healthy self-monitoring skills.
During a typical session I will work with you to assess your current nutritional needs, establish a meal structure, and assist with menu planning. Most importantly we will work together to set realistic goals that will move you towards normal eating behaviors and a healthy weight.
