Established in 1990, The Wellness Community provides various support services and programs for people with cancer and their families. It offers a range of educational and mind and body programs and workshops in Spanish at various locations. The community s educational programs teach to manage cancer treatment and recovery. The Wellness Community also organizes presentations from oncologists, radiologists and other medical specialists. It provides the Kids Circle and Teen Talk, which is a program for families which are affected by cancer. The community also provides one-on-one counseling for individuals who are affected with blood cancer. The Wellness Community is located in Walnut Creek, Calif.
