Founded in 1951, Wellpath offers a range of behavioral health care services. It is a private, nonprofit regional center that provides crisis intervention, case management and child abuse treatment solutions. The center offers victim recovery and outpatient psychotherapy and psychiatric treatment services. Wellpath serves more than 6,000 children, adolescents and families in Waterbury, Torrington, Danbury and Naugatuck cities in northwestern Connecticut. It also provides emergency mobile psychiatric services, as well as administers a victim assistance program. The center serves individuals with anxiety, depression, developmental delays and family relationship problems. Wellpath offers individual, group and family therapies. It provides the Early Childhood Consultation Program. The center is accredited by the Council on Accreditation.
