Wesley Medical Center

The Wesley Medical Center is a licensed 760-bed acute-care center with more than 100 bassinets. It has a works force of more than 700 physicians and over 3,000 employees. The medical center provides a range of diagnostic and treatment services for patients throughout Kansas and northern Oklahoma. The Wesley Medical Center, founded in 1912 by a regional organization of the Methodist Church, is accredited by the Joint Commission. It operates family medicine and birth care centers, as well as maintains a critical care building that houses various adult intensive care units. Located in Wichita, Kan., the medical center operates the Wesley West Emergency and Diagnostic Center, which provides 24-hour emergency care and outpatient diagnostic services.
