Established in 1916, Western Herald is an independent students newspaper for Western Michigan University. It provides news related to education, research, entertainment and current events. Western Herald also publishes opinion articles, as well as information about special events happening in university and surrounding areas. It stocks online newspaper archive for reference. The newspaper offers classified advertisement opportunities, as well as maintains online events calendar, search tool and massage board for subscribers. It is published Monday through Thursday during fall and spring semesters and twice weekly during summers. Located in Kalamazoo, Mich., Western Herald is available at more than 120 locations throughout campus.
