Women's Business Development Center (WBDC) operates as a voluntary organization. Located in Chicago, Ill., the firm encourages entrepreneurship among women business owners. Formed in 1986, it provides various kinds of support for women in the form of workshops, seminars, business coaching and financial assistance. Women's Business Development Center (WBDC) offers a suite of services, such as individual/bridge counseling, start up business assistance, Procurement Technical Assistance Center (PTAC), financial assistance and certification. The organization has partnership with the U.S. Department of Energy, Metropolitan Pier & Exposition Authority (MPEA) and Cook County, Bureau of Community Development.
