Established in 1969, Woodville Heights Elementary School offers education to students in kindergarten through grade five. It offers adult education and English as a Second Language programs. The school organizes a variety of sports and extracurricular activities. Its parent-teacher association conducts monthly meetings and supports and sponsors a range of school events and activities. In addition, the school provides special education services to support students with disabilities. It is a part of Jackson Public Schools, which operates more than 50 elementary, middle and high schools. The district serves over 32,000 students in kindergarten through grade 12.
