History: Established in 2010 Written on the Body was founded by Julie Campbell, a Licensed Massage Therapist, OR#15892. After graduating from The Evergreen State College with a BA in Psychology Julie decided to further her understanding of the human brain and body by attending The Savannah School of Massage Therapy in Savannah, GA. Julie felt as if she had finally found her passion and after so many amazing years of education and experience decided the only natural evolution would be to open her own studio to provide the amazing people of Portland a place of retreat, wellness and relaxation. This is how Written On The Body began, it has now evolved with many new additions: Michael Wesson, Feldenkrais Practitioner, Beth Howlett, MAcOM, Lac, Sandra Keeney, and Katie Jayne Selin, all Licensed Massage Therapists, into a healing spa with Acupuncture, massage, Chinese herbal medicine, Qi Gong, foot reflexology and spa treatments.
