The West Family YMCA is a child care and family service branch of the Scott County Family YMCA. The organization s facilities include a lane swimming pool, locker rooms, racquetball courts, and teen and aerobics training centers. It receives funds from the YMCA members, individuals, corporations and the United Way. The West Family YMCA provides a variety of swimming lessons, fitness classes and personal training sessions. The organization offers individual and group swimming lessons for children and adults. It provides classes in cycling, yoga, aerobics, cardiovascular exercises and Pilates. The West Family YMCA offers weight training designed to increase strength, metabolism, bone health, flexibility, joint function and workout efficiency.
